Sandy Berry has been crunching numbers and taming paper tigers for over 20 years. Joining the Business Sherpa Group in 2016, she instantly found a home for her accounting talents. 

Sandy enjoys conversing with her clients and doing her utmost to ensure that the bookkeeping process remains as seamless as possible.  Sandy has worked extensively in the public and private sector for small and medium-size interests. She excels at payroll preparation and the reconciliation of all income and balance sheet accounts as well as preparation of all monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.

Sandy began her career with a CPA firm, working with clients from a variety of industries providing accounting, tax and bookkeeping services.  After relocating to Ottawa, she furthered her career by moving into the arena of non-profit accounting, supervising accounts payable and receivable staff.
Always seeking more efficient ways to work, Sandy keeps her clients up to date with timely financial reporting.  As a graduate of Fanshawe College, Sandy is committed to life-long learning and has continued her accounting and human resource education at Lambton and Algonquin Colleges.

Along with her involvement with fundraising initiatives in Ottawa and serving as past president and registrar for minor soccer, she currently serves as a volunteer advocate with Citizen Advocacy of Ottawa. Outside of work, Sandy enjoys creating art and being a hockey mom. Making the most of the beautiful Ottawa Valley, she enjoys hiking, biking and relaxing at home with her family including rescue dogs Annabelle and Lucy.
