Jacqueline Cregan is a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of experience working with not-for-profit, public-sector employers, private sector start-ups and multinational corporations. She has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives, including compensation, compliance reporting, employee relations, HRIS implementations, HR workflow development, training and development and benefits administration.
Discovering BSG
I was first introduced to Business Sherpa Group (BSG) through a friend who worked within the organization. Her excitement about the work she was doing coupled with the flexible work environment is what sold me on joining the team. This is my second time working at BSG, coming back to the organization partially because of the support you receive personally and professionally. Having grown professionally in other HR roles over the years, I’m happy to be back working with so many knowledgeable and fun colleagues with continuous opportunities to learn.

I am a Senior HR Business Partner at BSG. The diversity of the work and the continuous learning is what I enjoy the most. From developing the HR foundation for a new client to supporting more established clients in their day-to-day needs, there is always something new to learn and be a part of.
Favourite Moment at BSG
Perhaps not a specific favourite moment, but I do have a favourite recurring feeling when I work with clients. When we’re able to help a client solve a problem, or discover some sort of breakthrough, seeing the relief they’re experiencing is very rewarding.
Out of Office
I really enjoy being outside whether it is walking my dogs, gardening, or skiing in the winter months. I live in Ottawa, and I am hoping to get outside more this winter and really embrace it! I am also a “hockey mom” so I spend a lot of time in cold rinks!
Small Business Shoutout
I would like to give a shout out to a small business called Coco Mutts in Stittsville, Ontario. They are a small pet store where I take my dogs for grooming and treats! I have just started going there and they provide great service and a very friendly atmosphere!
