Jan O’Donnell is an engaging team player who works effectively with her clients to understand and address their business needs. Jan has extensive experience in operational forecasting and cash flow management with a strong background in financial reporting and business analysis. This experience enables her to work with her clients to build effective financial reporting frameworks and operational forecasting models that identify key cost drivers and high risk elements to enhance business planning and operations.
Jan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). She has been providing Contract CFO support to high technology, small businesses and not for profit clients since 2004 and truly values the opportunity to work together with her clients to best serve their needs. This experience combined with senior management roles including working with the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, Bridgewater Systems and West End Systems allows her to bring her business and financial management expertise together to provide a hands-on approach to building and enhancing the finance role within small and medium sized organizations.
As a volunteer board member and community volunteer, Jan has the privilege of working with her community to make it stronger and more vibrant. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Nakkertok Ski Association, the largest cross-country ski club in Canada and Actua, Canada’s largest STEM outreach organization focused on inspiring innovation in Canadian youth.
